Across Borders and States – Road Trip!

October 3, 2013 by A Husky Life 8 Comments

It’s been rather quiet around these parts of the internet, but that’s because we took off on our annual road trip adventure. We spent six days on the road, drove 2, 200km through British Columbia, Washington State and Idaho, and visited friends along the way. We came back exhausted, but with lots of pictures to share!

Before the trip I was a bit concerned about Rocco and how he’llย  handle such a long time on the road, the over-stimulation and constant changes. Wherever possible, I tried to keep some of his routines unchanged and provide him with lots of rest and down time. Not only was he a trooper, but he had an absolute blast. A bit tired by the end, he took it all in stride and once again proved to be a fantastic travel companion ๐Ÿ™‚ I wrote about traveling with a special needs dog before here – plan for the worst and hope for the best!
