You Can’t Keep a Good Dog Down!

October 15, 2012 by A Husky Life 6 Comments

Yesterday Rocco had another seizure. Like the previous two, it came on unexpectedly and ended fairly quickly. Rocco spent the rest of the day resting in the cool air on the balcony. Today he woke up happy and energetic, so we set out to our local park to see how autumn is coming along.

We saw Canada Geese getting ready to leave.
We saw lots of yellow leaves…
…and red leaves.
We saw squirrels…
…and we chased them up the tree.
It was a fun day at the park.

I did not realize Rocco suffered from seizures, at one point we thought Delilah had seizures but it turns out we were wrong.

It looks like he recovered well and enjoyed his walk. I love the photo with the leaf in his collar.

Hi Jodi, he suffered his first seizure in July of this year, so we are still getting used to this new reality. So far, we’ve been very fortunate and the seizures have been far apart and mild. I’m glad to hear this wasn’t the case for Delilah!

What beautiful photos! I hope Rocco hasn’t had any more seizures. I love seeing photos of Siberian Huskies – I was a breeder-exhibitor of Siberians for many years, many years ago. Rocco is so beautiful!

Thank you, Deena. He’s been doing well so far, let’s hope it stays that way!
