The Heat is On

Summer made its hesitant appearance this weekend and it prompted us to revisit our “heat management procedures”. With a Husky and a thick coated cat it is important for us to provide them with ways of cooling down, which means we go through more ice than a pub on a busy night.

This year I also started making icicles for Rocco – he loves them!

Dogs are more prone to overheating than humans; just because it doesn’t feel hot to us, doesn’t mean our dog is comfortable! So in preparation for summer lets make sure our dogs are cool. Here are some facts about dog and cat heat strokes.
