Snow Dog in the Snow Storm

December 28, 2012 by A Husky Life 9 Comments

Vancouver rarely sees a major snow fall, which is why when last Monday we woke up to a winter wonderland, Rocco could barely contain his excitement. He wanted to go out and do his best impression of a snow dog in the snow storm. The snow turned into rain by late afternoon and by next morning there was barely any snow left on the ground, but at least we have pictures to prove it actually did happen!

that is adorable! I never knew that Vancouver doesn’t get a lot of snow. That is a surprise! Maybe you should move to Alaska? 🙂

We get a LOT of rain but very little snow, it’s rarely cold enough.

Nothing happier than a Husky in the snow! Years ago when I was showing Siberian Huskies there was a rare snowfall on the show grounds in Palmdale, CA. The dogs went nuts and were very hard to show – they just wanted to run around and roll around and play.

I was quite sure of Vancouver was an icy place.
Anyway, I’m glad to see Rocco happy.

That sure is a lot of snow! Awesome snow man. All the times I have ever been able to build a snow man they were probably no bigger than a foot tall haha!

Snow is lots of funs, isn’t it, Mr. Rocco? We haven’t had any real snows here in Keizer, Oregon, yet this year. How nice that you got to have some to play in!

    Luvs,

    Jackie

I love the footprints in the snow. I took a picture of one perfect print last week. I think I might blow it up! Happy New Year!!
