Hiking with Your Dog at Pacific Spirit Regional Park

Hiking with Your Dog at Pacific Spirit Regional Park

The park is one of the most dog friendly areas in Vancouver. With many kilometers of leash-optional trails, Pacific Spirit Regional Park is a dog heaven. It is big enough that you can spend hours hiking the beautiful forest and beaches, exploring the magnificent  natural surroundings, while still enjoying peace and quite. It’s no doubt a favourite among local dog owners.

I find late summer and early fall to be my favourite time of the year to hike the forest. The cooler temperatures, the fragrant smells and, most importantly, the spectacular light – all combined make for amazing walks. All pictures where taken on an afternoon hike through Pacific Spirit Regional Park.

Thank you, Thibaud! The white dog is Monty, he’s a miniature American Eskimo and I look after him few days a week. He hates his pictures being taken and won’t stay still 🙂 So I can rarely get a good shot!
