DINOS – Dogs In Need Of Space

A very important subject that doesn’t get enough attention. Many owners and inexperienced handlers are desperate for their dogs to be “friendly”. However, there are many reasons why a dog, yours or one met on the street, might be in need of space. It is important to remember that a properly socialized dog is not necessarily “friendly” to other dogs  by our standards and our understanding of the word – such concept is foreign to them. It is also very important to know that DINOS are not bad dogs, any dog at any point in their life may become a DINOS.

To learn more, here is an article  “My Dog is Friendly! PSA”, by Jessica Dolce who started a whole movement advocating for DINOS
