On most days Vasco annoys the living daylights out of Ilyich, as do all younger sibling in the world. Vasco is full of energy, wants attention, and above all else wants everything that his older brother has. It’s just the way things are…no use fighting it. On most days Ilyich accepts this fact of life…and then on some he spits and pins the little bugger to the ground. BUT on rare occasions they let their guards down and show the world what it already knows: the brotherly love they have for one another.
It is always tricky introducing a new cat into the house, and it is easy to get discouraged. However, with patience and understanding of the individual cats’ needs, it takes less time than one might imagine. From my experience, cats are often happier with a companion even if they don’t always show outwardly signs of affection.
