Bigger, Better Cat Grass

May 30, 2013 by A Husky Life 5 Comments

During the course of winter, I grew tired of the small and flimsy plastic containers of cat grass you buy at pet stores: the easily tip over, quickly dry out and have to be replaced quite often. In the spring, I decided to put my gardening skills to test and bought the biggest planter I could carry.

I have to say the results surpassed my expectations. The cat grass grew thick and tall and it’s been like this for the past 3 months, despite two cats munching on it every single day. And, it looks nice. I highly recommend planting your own kitty grass!

Oh wow it looks great! Definitely seems like a better option than those tiny store bought ones.

Now that’s different! At first I thought I was seeing things when I saw a woofie promoting cat grass! Then I saw the kitty! BTW this is Dakota’s kitty brother, Cody 🙂

Our cats knock over those small containers and destroy them quite quickly. This looks great!
